Jigoro Kano, founder of Judo and someone who actually did randori. Since its inception in 1882 by Jigoro Kano Judo has been a mainstay in the Japanese education system and the country's culture as a whole. Being one of the handful of arts to truly embrace it's sport culture of randori, tournaments and pressure-tested fighting skills, Judo sought to bring the art of traditional Japanese jujutsu to the next century after the modernization of Japan. It is taught in the school system of Japan, is considered a national sport and past-time akin to how baseball and football is to the United States, and is a great system either on it's own or blends with other systems in a complementary manner. Blunders Amongst Living History

Bret Gordon has proven he has built his so-called history on nothing more than a convoluted bed of lies...and the problem is he can't even lie well. The latest “correction” of Bret Gordon’s own martial history is one of many and it is becoming increasingly common for him to do these when caught in a lie. For a person who has described himself as a historian and also a respectable journalist...he seems to make a lot of mistakes and has to make a lot of these corrections. So apparently Hatfield had no idea what his step-father William Sirbaugh looked like at any stage of history prior to the 1990's which led to them using a random  photo from the Moodukkwan Historical Archives online. Once debunked Gordon simply HAD to spin it for the best of appearances. Over time Bret has made so many corrections he has ultimately proven himself to be either  A.)
