Bret Gordon has proven he has built his so-called history on nothing more than a convoluted bed of lies...and the problem is he can't even lie well. The latest “correction” of Bret Gordon’s own martial history is one of many and it is becoming increasingly common for him to do these when caught in a lie. For a person who has described himself as a historian and also a respectable journalist...he seems to make a lot of mistakes and has to make a lot of these corrections. So apparently Hatfield had no idea what his step-father William Sirbaugh looked like at any stage of history prior to the 1990's which led to them using a random  photo from the Moodukkwan Historical Archives online. Once debunked Gordon simply HAD to spin it for the best of appearances. Over time Bret has made so many corrections he has ultimately proven himself to be either  A.) Bret Gordon has made it his mission to post repeatedly about things such as how honest and integrity are important parts of his martial arts training. He professes to adhere to the highest values in the martial arts today. To those that read his blogs, he implies he is beyond a level which mere mortals could ever attain.  Without honesty we are prone to lie to ourselves and others about what we can do or what we can offer. With regards to frauds we find that most aren't really capable, not very productive members of the community, nor well-to-do. They generally hold menial and unchallenging jobs and are sorely lacking in their approach to life and their dealings with others. They exist in a fantasy world with an extraordinary image they imagine for themselves. Throughout the time my predecessor Greg was operating under the pen name of Gerald Greysmith he encountered some of the worst people the martial arts world ever saw in the organization known as Konigun Ninjutsu. Bryce Frederick Dallas will always live in infamy for his criminal actions as well as his ill-fated lawsuit against E-Budo. Along with his friend Cayce Lancaster together they set out determined to tell the entire story of the man and his art.  An art he made up from scratch.
